Evidence Based Play Therapy & Goal Directed Treatment Planning

Description:

This 2 hour live training will carefully examine the research that shows and supports evidence based play therapy for treatment planning in helping children with a variety of mental health issues and challenges. This training will count for 2 hours of non-contact play therapy training (APT Approved Provider 12-321) until March 1, 2021. You’ll still have access but you will need to complete the training for CE credit before March 1, 2021.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the most current and standing research studies demonstrating the efficacy of particular play therapy interventions.
2. Explain how to structure a play therapy treatment plan rooted in evidence based practices.
3. Describe ways to share with other professionals, parents and the community about the research that supports the use of play therapy to help children with mental health challenges.
